Biography

Sabihe Soleimanian-Zad has recieved her bachelor in Microbiology from Isfahan University, Isfahan, Iran in 1985. In 1989 she obtained her master degree in Food Microbiology from University of Tehran. Her master project  was "An electromicroscopical survey on tick-borne borellia, infection in Iran".  She started her carrer in Isfahan University of Technology as a faculty member in 1989. She received scholarship from her university for doing her Phd in England. She started her PhD in University of Nottingham and worked on " The evaluation of lux reporter gene in studying listerial contamination  and pathogenicity in cheese". She got her PhD in 2002. Now she is a professor of Food Microbiology in Department of Food Science and Technology, Faculty of Agriculture, Isfahan University of technology, Isfahan, Iran. Her research areas are mainly Food Microbiology, Food probiotics and prebiotics.
